One of the worst cars for our Latvian roads. The front shock absorbers are no good, on a small recess it breaks right through to the end. There is simply no clearance height, on the road any small obstacle will immediately meet with the engine sump.

The catalyst cracked, the muffler rotted, the middle, the lamb probe failed, the signal disappeared, the rear trunk stopped opening. Generator repaired, completely changed the entire suspension. The oil seal leaked on the engine. You don’t have enough. And that’s enough for me. At the same time, spare parts are like a Mercedes. very expensive and not reliable car.

I have been operating a car in the north of the Tomsk region for 4 years. The car is reliable. Mileage 63000 km. During this time, changed the two front hubs (one under https://cars45et.ug/listing/mercedes-benz/viano warranty). As it turned out later, my tire pressure gauge was to blame for the premature replacement of the hubs. Recently, during a diagnostic at a dealership, I was told about increased tire pressure. Having measured the pressure with my pressure gauge, I found that I pumped the wheels to 3.5 instead of 2 atm. Such pressure our roads = result. The front struts are a drawback, in my opinion, of all foreign cars. The problem is the oil filling. It is rated at -25 degrees below zero. In the summer, I did not notice the breakdown of the racks. Do not forget that this is not a jeep. For good roads, the car is great. Particularly balanced ICE 1.8 with MCP. Not a single electronic failure! For all the time of operation, it never got into a skid (ECR equipment), excellent directional stability. Once I had to start a car in 36 degrees below zero without heating. I was amazed! It started up on the first try, only the airbag malfunction lamp came on (it went out at the next start). Steering sharp, long accustomed after the Volga. The brakes are great, helped out in very acute situations. Haven’t changed pads yet. Silent blocks have recently creaked, I will change them. If you have any questions – write, I will answer.
